Aberdaron

After Mr P had done an extended coastal path run and a late breakfast we drove the twelve miles to Aberdaron.
Hedgerows are starting to look amazing :filled with a variety of wild flowers, there is a peak time coming up for them before they get cut back to allow traffic to pass through.
Hope to get a photograph soon.
It’s always good to get to Aberdaron as you approach it from a hill, always need good breaks on the car coming down the hill.
There’s a good National Trust car park and centre in the village and we have made good use of it over the years.
Went to the customery bakery for the usual cheese pasty and ate it overlooking the sea, managed not to spill coffee down myself as l did on a previous visit.
A walk along the beach then a call into a little cafe for a mini cream tea.
Honestly the cream was piled so high on the scone it nearly went up my nose when l bit in to it!
Lovely drive home a different way on little country lanes offering some great views.
Weather much kinder today and l’ve put a little collage on in extras.

Thank you all for the lovely response over the last couple of days. I get spurts of internet here but often long periods with non at all.
