Naples Castle

It was a very long day, starting at the Forum in Rome, and ending at the harbor in Naples.  After a morning walk back to the Roman ruins area (it couldn't have been all up hill but it sure seemed to be), we took the train to Naples.  There was a bit of confusion at the front desk, because I had forgotten to make a reservation!  We're joining a tour group tomorrow, and for some reason I thought this night was included.  Oh well, at least they had a room available.  Before dinner we walked across the street to Castel del'Oro.  I'll have to read up on its history tonight.  It was beautiful in the golden light, which apparently is well recognized, because a bride and groom arrived to have their photos taken (in extras).  It's time to get some sleep.  We're heading with the group to Sorrento in the morning.
