Saturday: Crimson Flowered Broad Beans

Beautiful sunny morning, air a little chilly first thing but it warmed up as day went on, then cloudy but perfect for gardening.
Cleared lots of things out of the greenhouse. Planted out red cabbage seedlings with the garlic behind the garage. Purple sprouting brocolli and cavollo nero planted in deep bed behind greenhouse.
Had to water all of the plants behind the house, they were bone dry even though we've had heavy rain !!
Heard the bees foraging on the broad beans and noticed that the flowers are open ...
