Wild Orchids.

There is an area under a Beech tree at my Tuesday morning customer's which is behind a gate, beside the garage wall and surrounded by a hedge. It is very dry and very rough but there is magic happening!

A couple of years ago a small orchid appeared then nothing and earlier this season I strimmed over the undergrowth to tidy it up and today I was met by an excited home owner who showed me the pictured orchid and another 12 smaller ones all growing there.

Mr home owner was given a tree as a birthday present recently which I planted today, the first dawn redwood I've ever planted. (See extra)
