A Purple Sensation.

I'm a real fan of alliums and these purple sensation have been producing lovely flowers for a number of years.

Having spent all last week's visit strimming I managed to get back to the part of the garden I like, the more formal rose garden at the front of the house. Spent some time weeding between the bricks in the paved area then more weeding around lavender plants, a lovely job due to the scent they produce.

The day finished with tackling some ground elder a customer had been ignoring for a couple of years.

After work I went with RF to take Murphy to the vet, he is walking very slowly, sometimes limping and constantly chewing a paw. The vet found a flap of skin on one of his pads and soreness between them. She cut the flap off and condemned him to wearing 'the cone'for a few days together with antiseptic washes and cream to help his foot recover.

He was a completely different dog on his walk afterwards, running and bobbing along like normal.

After a very lovely meal I had to leave to go to the night shelter.
