KEEP OFF THE GRASS!!

All I do in this garden is cut the grass and the customer is a big fan of the stripes so I make sure they are as straight as I can. They also get cut at different angles so that the grass is flattened in different directions and weeds find it harder to establish.

The day finished at the cottage in Houghton where I again heard a cuckoo which was obviously flying around but could I see it?? No wonder there is a country name of  "Ghost Bird" for them.

After work we potted up 35 plug plants which had been delivered today, all very healthy and strong.
