red lights, grey morning

Lots of rain today! We went to the Reichstag to go up the dome bit which was really exciting. Had lots of fun taking photos of the reflections on the mirror sculpture thing in the centre. This is me and Rhiannon :) Afterwards, we went to Checkpoint Charlie and the Jewish Museum which was really disturbing. Had lunch in Kreuzberg in a nice Turkish restaurant and spent the evening in a nice bar drinking beers. On our way home, I had the most amazing (and ridiculously spicy) currywurst from a street vendor. He had 'Stay' by U2 blasting from a little portable CD player. I used to really love that song when I was a kid.
