......but if it drops much further Whitley Bay will be officially 'SOPPING' (currently it's just 'SHITLEY'), which come to think of it, is true rather more often than the local residents and visitors would like ;-) Taken while I was waiting to cross the road on the way back from Make, Do and Mend (I was at that 'are these crossing lights actually working?' stage).....any further blipping opportunities were slim to zero because I was pulling a full-to-capacity shopping trolley and lugging two carrier bags. On the plus side I actually remembered the shopping list for once and everything on it was duly crossed off ;-)
