Blossom impression

DJ was finally feeling up to a bit of golf, so he played the Wee Course and I tagged along slowly. It's another gorgeous day and everything is bursting out in bloom very quickly, just as it was happening in The Netherlands two/three weeks ago. There was the one pink blossom tree near the last hole which seemed a perfect tree for another try-out of the Pep Ventosa technique. Just as I was making my 5th image of the tree a lone rather young golf player came up to me to ask if I was with the golf player over there (DJ) and if I reckoned he would want to play another round with him, as he had to practise for a competition tomorrow and would like to have a bit of golfing company. Had to tell him that DJ was recovering from an injury and probably not up to it, but to ask nonetheless. And promptly forgot to take any more shots of the tree. So this image was made up from 4 images made in a half circle. One on top of the other, with opacities from 50% downwards. And a bit of faffing in PS Elements with gradient filters to emphasise the blossom.

Remember that tomorrow it's Abstract Thursday with tag AT151 and optional theme 'distortion' which can mean anything which is somehow distorted, the possibilities are endless !

We're looking forward to a meet-up with fellow Blipper Damnonii and family tonight :-)

Thanks so much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's wire egg cup, well done to those who guessed/knew it ! :-)
