Flannel and Fleece

Two nights ago, we switched our bed sheets from the cheerful polka-dotted summer numbers to our Autumnal/Winter flannel set plus a fleece blanket on top. I cannot convey to you just how happy I am now, when the weather is cool, when I get to sleep under my soft and warm sheets, when I can bake and cook in the slow cooker without running my AC to the ground.

The sun was coming through the window and flooding the bed with light. I found the shade and shadow irresistible, so here you have it. Here is to fleece and flannel.
