White Sands Geological Coastline

I was walking the dogs this morning at White Sands and as we made our way along the rocky coastline I took a number of shots of the rock pools and fossilised rocks so we have ended up with yet another montage.

Megan, however, had other thoughts and was determined to get her face into the picture somehow. She is wearing a muzzle not because she is aggressive but because she will eat anything that comes to hand and seaweed can pose a major danger to puppies if they manage to ingest too much. The rocky shore is composed largely of Cambrian shale which weathers rather smoothly and beautifully with the action of the incoming tide.
