A Host of Hostas

They look good enough to eat, which is what the slugs and snails will no doubt be doing shortly.
Still I also love them and they are one of my favourite garden plants.

We had friends K and A round for lunch today.
Main course was Flambéed chicken with asparagus.. Making the most of the seasonal produce.
As always much chatting and laughter, and eating and drinking.
Played some old 50's and 60's music which brought back happy  memories for us all.
The taxi came for them about an hour ago.
Washing up finished and now think it will be an early night!

Still a chilly day although we have had some sunshine.
Even popped the heating on for an hour first thing, just to warm things up.
Hope it is a bit warmer for the weekend.
