Morelia Cathedral

I paid a little extra so I could have a balcony room at the hotel we always stay at when in Morelia. I even took my tripod along so I could capture the cathedral at dusk from that very balcony. I was rewarded with this image capturing both the motion of the street and the serenity of the church. I think it helped that a storm was building, providing a nice dark sky against which to photograph the well-lit towers. In fact, soon after this the skies opened up and those people on the street, including the policeman directing traffic, and in the park scurried for cover in the nearby porticos.
