Rush hour at Invermoriston

Coming into Invermoriston this afternoon on a rather dull day. I was only stopping for a cup of tea before heading back to Drumnadrochit. I've passed by here before as it is a junction where you can head for the Great Glen of Glencoe or head straight on for the Isle of Skye.

Even on dull days such as today, I find the Highlands of Scotland hugely seductive. I don't know if its because of the coming together of history, myth and place, but there is something very special.

I have travelled and worked in many countries, and have been fascinated by most, but the Highlands of Scotland tug at the heart in a very special way.
