Pretty in Pink

After a cloudy start, the day brightened to be another very warm (28ºC) and sunny day, which was perfect for today's Youth and Sports Day ceremony and subsequent field, team and games activities - in recognition of tomorrow's National holiday - Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day (Atatürk'ü Anma, Gençlik ve spor Bayramı).


Mostly on my mind is Mum, who we lost on this day in 2006.  As always, I will raise a glass at 9pm (UK time) knowing that my brother is doing the same, to celebrate the life that gave us ours.   For all I am, will ever be, I am your song, your love, your melody.  I miss you, Mum.
