Apothecary7's day off.

Lovely day, so we decided to drive up to mid Argyll (about 60 miles) and go for a walk along the towpath of the Crinan canal. We parked at Bellanoch bridge and walked the 2 miles along to Crinan. All the seats outside the coffee shop were busy, so quite a few people around enjoying the sunshine. However, inside is nice and cool and dogs are allowed so we had lunch inside.

After lunch we walked back along the towpath to the car then drove the few miles to Lochgilphead and stopped so Apothecary7 could get some acrylic inks from the Archway Gallery art shop. Driving back down the West road the sea looked lovely all the way and the wind was lifting the spray off the waves on the beaches further down into Kintyre.
