Home again

Left Mottram by about 10 am, so with a stop at Tebay northbound I was making good time when I decided to turn off at Moffat and come home via the Grey Mare's Tail and St Mary's Loch. 'Twould have been great, but was stopped by a polis after about 7 miles who said that the road was closed due to an accident. Had to turn round and go back to Moffat, there being no alternative side roads on the way. Oh well.

Nothing else to report. Spent most of the day listening to radio 3 which featured no weddings and no cup finals - very soothing.

The blip is of the Clarice Cliff toast rack which G's grandmother gave him, when he'd helped her out with moving some furniture (much to the disgruntlement of some other members of his family, apparently!).
