standing at attention...

...is a yellow bird

i saw this flash of color - out the window - bright yellow at first - then upon closer inspection realized he/she had an - orange head on that yellow body - i am not certain what kind of bird this is - haven't seen it before - around here in the trees - looking it up, it might be a western tanager? - but i am not very - knowledgeable about birds so anyone who is, feel free to help

surprisingly today 5 of them appeared in the trees - go figure - miss mollie-boo joined in the fun of watching - them frolic through the branches - it doesn't get much better than that - to spend a lazy sunday afternoon - and to call it therefore...
