Spectacular Scenery & A Chocolate Box Village

Not being a fan of football or royal weddings, I was most grateful to be whisked away this morning by Mr Kit and Sushi to the Lake District. We met up with Dad, my brother, sister in law and niece in a pub just outside Keswick for lunch.

Dad has booked us all a lovely apartment in Braithwaite, just a few miles from Keswick. We had enough time to leave Dad watching the football, the kids playing in the swimming pool, while we went for a quick 4 mile walk up in the hills. Stunning weather, spectacular scenery and a chocolate box village!
