Kronborg

Oh gee, another full day.

Relaxing mind you, but tiring.

Mid morning I took the train 50 minutes north to Helsingør with three objectives - get out of the city on a beautiful sunny Sunday, see a bit more of the country beyond Copenhagen and visit Kronborg Castle.

Mission accomplished. The 16th century castle was the setting for Shakespeare’s Hamlet. I enjoyed it. The Blip is the banqueting hall in the castle. The Extras are other parts of it.

I was back in the city by 4pm and took the opportunity to wander through some of the parts I’ve never visited before. Then about 6pm it was airport time.

I’m really glad I decided to re-visit the city this weekend. The ice hockey and catching up with Mariel were a bonus.
