We're Making A Film

So, a couple of weeks ago we decided to put in a late entry into the Edinburgh 48 Hour Film Project - just sneaking onto the list of 30+ teams taking part. And tonight was the launch event - we drew our themes - either 'Road Movie' or 'Spy/Espionage' and then like everyone else heard the three required elements - character, prop and line of dialogue. We will be a team of six, although at least to start with we were just four - me and L, plus our friends J  and (fellow blipper) S. We moved on from the launch venue for something to eat at the Mexican restaurant here in my blip, where we started to focus our ideas - such as picking 'Road Movie' ahead of 'Spy/Espionage'. Later we went to S's flat where we sorted out the bare bones of the plot, joined by team member number five - K from mahjong. Managed to finish up by eleven so not too late before a busy day tomorrow.
