Nymphs and (German) Shepherds

I knelt to shoot my first grasshopper of the season and Ollie dog rolled on it. All was not lost though, while I was down there I spotted a Roesel's bush cricket nymph that had just moulted. It was looking very pale and vulnerable next to its discarded skin. (Extras).

I got it onto my finger but was having difficulty shooting it with one hand so put it on Ollie's back so that I could capture it. She was oblivious and happy to roll around in the long grass with me. She looks like she has a bad case of dandruff in my image but that's grass pollen.
