Roadshow

Canon held their annual Roadshow in Johannesburg on Saturday.  As ever, a stimulating day and this year featuring two of their "Canon Ambassadors": Katya Mukhina, an award winning wedding photographer,   presented her work (wedding shots on glaciers in Iceland, etc) and a news photographer (whose name escapes me!) spoke about covering the Tour de France. Three photographers working as a team take turns on the back of the motorbike with images transferred instantly by wifi to the two non-riders who edit (only slightly in Lightroom) and send the images to their agency in Frankfurt.  Time allowed from an incident happening to reaching the newsroom (and the world) is about 4 minutes maximum!
