Sprint Mill

On Tuesday mornings  the local orienteering club organise runs of varying length with the shortest length being suitable for walkers. We are out for between 2 and 3 hours and end up in the pub.  Today's walk  took us through Sprint Mill, owned by a couple who run the old mill and surrounding land under Natural England Environmental Stewardship scheme.  They have a large organic garden ( they describe it as unorthodox) , a huge collection of old rural craft tools and a help yourself tea room. I have spotted on the internet that they will open their garden to groups of 6 or more. I will have to find some friends!
