Spanish Bouganvillea

This plant is lethal but disguised as a beautiful maiden.  Its thorns will gash your flesh and its paper thin petals will clog your garden and pool filter.  It grows everywhere and is almost impossible to kill!  But it is beautiful at this time of the year.

I walked to get the bread this morning and took my camera with 42.5mm f1.2 with me - this lens will be at its best with people photography as it's not quite a macro, but it still managed some decent shots of various bits of the local flora along the way.

Our fence is now up and completed - and a good job done.  As the ivy will take a bit of time to grow, we may need to add a bit more of a screen in the meantime - we'll see how much that will cost.
