Summer’s Day

My sister and niece were arriving today so it was a very quick house clean and preparation- as it happened the M5 was so quiet the journey only took 2 and 1/2 hours so we were still vacuuming when they arrived .
It was so good to have my sister here as she hasn’t been down for a few years .
Sunday dinner together( maybe a bit too hot for a roast ) - followed by a walk round the village . They both have fitness trackers so are upping their ‘steps’ !!
The pink campion is out in profusion at the moment .
Did I mention how much I love this time of year ?
