Candle in the rain

A morning of admin and phone calls. Annoyingly, a scammer claiming to be from Microsoft got through, but it turned in to a highly amusing call and I couldn't resist stringing him along for a while! And a frustrating call with the insurance company dealing with the legal claim after last year's RTA. (When I was working, treating something with 'utmost priority' meant dealing with it immediately. So why do solicitors and other over well-paid professionals think it means to put something off for a couple of weeks, think about it for another fortnight, and then chase it up, if they remember? Grrrr.)

Tai Chi after lunch, then a couple of hours in the 'Music room' with a tub of wood filler.

Another early evening walk on the Common - dull, wet and breezy. Yesterday's blossom was weighted down by raindrops, but the horse chestnut candles looked quite splendid in the rain.
