Sunshine at Slimbridge

A mini blipmeet at Slimbridge today - Terrifo and self, Hildasrose and Rob and Incredibish arranged to meet - in the cafe, where else? After a chinwag and coffee we headed off to face the birds. What fun! So much to see and so many things to attempt to photograph. The sun was high so it was a challenge to not get blow outs. . . 
Hildasrose and self found out we could play at making collages in camera. An interesting result!  
The cranes have two eggs on the nest. Apparently they might both hatch but the bigger of the two will oust its sibling and the cranes will endeavour to raise the survivor. Hope they are successful. . . though predators abound.
