Lochleven Castle

On our way home today we stopped off at Kinross and took the boat trip across to Lochleven Castle which is most famous for its imprisonment and enforced abdication of Marty Queen of Scots but was in fact visited by many Scottish monarchs including Robert the Bruce and Mary also stayed there voluntarily on a number of occasions. It's a very peaceful site to visit as there can only be limited numbers of visitors there at any one time as the boat only hold about 10 people.
