Today AFC Fylde were in the first round proper of the FA Cup against Accrington Stanley. "Accy" has been the butt of many a joke over the years, nonemoreso than in an advert for milk in the 1970's

The result was 4-1 to the visitors but as they are 3 leagues higher it wasn't unexpected. The place errupted though when we scored our goal in the 90th minute

I announced it as "The comeback is on!"

I had a chat with the referee in the bar afterwards and he's claiming a record for today. There were only 3 fouls and 1 offside in the whole game.

As the ground cleared the various media representatives got to work filing their reports to an expectant press.
In the photo we have (right to left), our own media officer Chris, Dan from BBC Radio Lancashire, Graham from The Press Association (who I think was working for Sky) and representatives from newspapers.

We also had ITV filming and doing interviews afterwards so I'll be watching later tonight.

As I left the ground over an hour after the game ended there were still a couple of reporters at their laptops and it made we wonder: how did the reports get filed before the days of mobile internet?

Have a great Sunday.
