Wall flowers

Seen and captured on a garden wall in Dornoch. On our last part of the NC500 tour (we did a part only) we've been travelling back from West to East, from Lochinver to Dornoch. Rather suprising that it doesn't take that long to travel from the Atlantic Ocean on the one side to the North Sea on the other side. I do think however we've had enough of single track roads for a while :-). But it was a great experience in extraordinary weather ! Today it was very nice to finally see the ruins of Ardvreck Castle for real (see extra)
Last night's dinner at Chez Roux was very good, so we're now wondering what our meal in tonight's hotel (Dornoch Castle) is going to be. It's a celebratory meal in any case, today's our 33rd wedding anniversary :-) Tomorrow it's part one of the journey down South ...
