Breezing along!

A day that exceeded weather forecast expectations with more sunshine and brightness than predicted. A lovely day to be out on two wheels, sometimes with the strong wind acting to push you along and other times trying to push you back where you'd been!!

This is one of my favourite roads in Calderdale, Heights Road. You don't need to be a genius to work out why it may be called that...! The clearing in the trees to the left of my bike is on Scout Road where the floods caused an enormous landslide. They've recently removed the huge, white covering that was holding the remaining hillside in place. The views up here are spectacular, you can look down into the valley or across to the tops near Cragg Vale and beyond!
