Snapshots of my world

Stoodley Pike!

What a beautiful, stunning, breathtaking, gorgeous, glorious (insert any similar adjective you fancy here!!) walk!

Mum and I caught the train from Sowerby Bridge to Todmorden where we then walked up to The Shepherd's Rest, a pub close to Lumbutts. It was here we started the walk up to Stoodley Pike. The views were stunning in every direction! Blue skies and sunshine, teamed with unbelievably strong winds made for a very pleasant temperature.

We came down from Stoodley Pike into Mankinholes where we then continued down to the canal. A lovely stroll along the towpath back into Todmorden for an ice cream before catching the train back.

A peach of a day, so lucky to have such beauty on our doorstep.
