Two of three

A beautifully sunny day here today - almost too hot outside in the sun. I spent the afternoon getting a few potted plants ready for the Gardening Scotland stand next week and potting up various young plants which I'm growing on for my own garden, when I have one!

This is one of my very special woodlanders - Trillium grandiflorum 'Plenum'. Flower parts are normally in threes - petals, sepals, stamens and leaves, but in this rather desirable form the flower is multi-petalled. Rather slow growing - you see huge specimens of this plant at Alpine Shows which must be many years old.
