Derbyshire Open Arts

It’s a busy Bank Holiday weekend for artists across Derbyshire and the Peak District. Yesterday was the first day of the event and the first time I opened the doors of our home and my studio to the general public.

It went really well with familiar faces as well as new folk all of whom I was delighted to meet and greet.

Lots of photography chat, sales and commissions as well as a little money raised through refreshments for Young Minds.

The exciting part about this event is that you never know who will walk through the door and what opportunities they may bring with it.

Day two today when I’ll look forward to welcoming more visitors to Annwen Studio.
