The detail of simplicity

You know how it is when one person sees something with perfect clarity . . . . . . things are simple, straightforward and as obvious as black on white, whilst another person struggles to see the same thing through all the intricate details and excuses that surround it. Is it selective vision? Or are there two realities?

I glimpsed a simple reality today and I'm not sure I liked what I saw. It certainly isn't a shared reality.

I did however, like the simplicity and the detail in this pittosporum leaf, spotted whilst I enjoyed a few minutes out in the garden. Spring it may be, but still cold enough to light the fire tonight. Definitely worth a look large if you like details.
