A Monkey's Tale

How Much Did That Costa?

I'm reliably informed by our northern visitor that our little collections of cafe morsels was rather on the deer side, the mind boggles, but then that's the big chain business for you.

Anyway, we had a nice time & my honeycomb hot chocolate was delicious! As you can probably tell, Ri's enjoying her chilled chocolate version. Once we'd finished my popped to Waitrose where Ian did the unthinkable & asked if they sold Pot Noodle! Cue one, then two, shop assistants roaming the isles for this fiendishly appealing snack-type-thing. They had a limited range but Ian was successful & so we returned home to watch the Arsenal v Scum-chester United game. I haven't watched so much football over a weekend in ages, but since my switch to more conventional working hours, I've now got the pleasure, & it was good.

Ian left late afternoon to head back to work this eve. His destination was Boreham Wood as he had to chauffeur the director of a new BBC drama to location, ready for filming to begin early tomorrow morning. Great to see him, as always, & if we're lucky we may catch up with him again in a few weeks when he's filming in Surrey.

That's a wrap!
