What lightning last night! I knew it must be a dramatic sky and was ever so tempted to get up into the torrential rain but knew it would be difficult to get dry again. Instead I lay in the tent trying to hear the thunder over the rain thumping onto the flysheet and the bass pounding from the rave in the woods. The thunder didn't stand a chance.
I was ever so impressed at how early last night's lightning-dancers got up to clear the site by the allotted time. I had no camera battery left for pictures of the morning tent packing - this was taken with my phone on the way back from dropping off the hire car.
I reckoned I'd taken close on a thousand pictures yesterday so I was astounded when I got home to find the total was 1,930. If I can't get 60 decent pictures for the organisers out of that I don't deserve to own a camera.
