Our bird guard-dog

Usual start to day off - visit to mum, she was sleeping but woke and happily ate TWO little packets of chocolate buttons. She is looking thinner and sleeps a lot now as well as remaining in bed all the time. It is her birthday on Thursday so gave her her pressie today (a new nightie). :)

Down the M3 to visit my school friend (going back many years!). Before getting to her, dropped in cards for my nephew and his wife as it is their anniversary today (and their boys birthdays next week, so played postman). Lovely catch up with my BFF continuing over lunch at the local garden centre. Bumped into my niece whilst there (she was having a coffee/tea with friends), so able to wish her a happy anniversary. Continued chatting/catch-up with my BFF - we haven’t met for a couple of months so a lot to catch up on!

Weather very wet and thundery this afternoon, motorway journey back had a lot of spray and traffic.

Nice chat with AJ tonight, she is doing OK :)
