Number Thirteen - Hermeline

Very unusually Ollie and I didn't find anything to photograph on our first walk of the morning. We went out again just as the rain was starting. Ollie pricked up her ears and put her nose to the ground as we neared number thirteen disused glasshouse. I hurried her past one of the places where the animals go in and out.

When I looked through the missing pane of glass Hermeline the vixen was snoozing. She woke, gave me a long stare and then loped into the undergrowth. She's looking much better groomed than when I saw her last time. Ollie was oblivious.

It rained heavily all afternoon. We got pics of a drenched robin and a rook with its baggy trousers wet soon after the rain stopped.
