Quite a balancing act going on here!

We've recently seen two or three crows at the high feeder on our deck. It doesn't take long for them to go through one of the suet and seed cakes! The smaller birds are happy to pick up the myriad crumbs the crows drop.

Apologies for my current lack of participation -- once the Whatcom Chorale concert is over this Sunday, and I'm back from a solo trip east (June 9-15), I hope to post here more often and do better at keeping up with your journals.
