Low Water

Natures exploding fireworks - Cowparsley is beginning to show its magic, but still far for its best.
The same can't be said for the Dandelions. Even in the morning damp when the seed heads are not fully spread they really are quite beautiful.
I am not sure if the stickieness on the Horse-chestnut leaves is a defensive mechanism but it really does hold onto stuff that falls on it.

A wee bit of turning and a trip to get a new pair of walking shoes (since my current pair have split along the leather above the sole).

Walking PD this evening and we came across a huge branch which has come off one of the big beech trees and is now completely blocking the footpath which is used by quite a lot of kids going to and from school.
I suspect that the whole tree will be taken down as there are signs of rot quite low down on the trunk.
