The best possible place for a snooze .....

..... is right on top of mum's back. She does all the work and we get a free ride!

These cygnets in Queens Park are growing fast and it wasn't easy for all four of them to find adequate space but they were certainly going to try. 

I don't know how many photos I took hoping to capture the perfect shot ... eventually I called it a day and collected the dogs who had waited so patiently.

Still no rain but the gardeners came this afternoon so everything looks good despite the dryness ..... guess the hose will need another outing later on.

I'm going to a concert tonight so will catch up tomorrow.
