A family outing

Although it was very damp first thing this morning conditions were fine for a walk round the loch. I'm still looking out for the cygnets  ....  no sign of either swan so they are either hidden among the foliage on the island or they have move to the we nature reserve which is not open to the public .... they must be somewhere!

Most of the Canada Geese goslings were pecking about on the grass apart from this young family of four who were just coming in to land.

The Greylags were down near the road so the best place to stop for a rest was right in the middle of the road that leads to the car park and these three were not for moving until one rather irate motorist tooted his horn.

By then the rain had really started to fall so I was glad to get back to the car.
