SOOC

The theme for today's Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg is SOOC. For the non-photographers who stumble upon my blips and don't know the acronym this means Straight Out Of Camera.

The majority of photographs that are published go through a certain amount of post-processing as has been done since the start of photography, originally in the darkroom now in front of a computer screen, Using a photo editing app/program they have work done on them to the photographer's liking, sometimes very little, sometimes a bit more.

Preparing a picture for Abstract Thursday can take quite a bit of work to obtain the finished product. Today the photo has no manipulation, just SOOC. Although, naturally, it is a photograph of an actual thing I feel it is different enough, ie not your normal snap, to be abstract.
