Malvern (again)

We met Jo and James in Malvern, our second visit this week. We had a quick look round the priory then met them at a nearby cafe for lunch. After lunch we went to Malvern Theatre to see the matinee performance of the comedy Waiting for God, based on the TV series of some years back. Very funny with some good side-swipes at how people see 'the elderly'.

Coffee later at Nero then Ann and I went for a walk around before driving home. We went through gardens onto the foothills of the Malverns Hills, taking the gradual path up rather than the 99 steps to St Ann's Well. The weather had turned warm and sunny and it was a pleasure to be out, we also had a look round Priory Park.

The picture is of the Buzzard sculpture by Walenty Pytel in Rose Bank Gardens commissioned for the Queen's Diamond jubilee in 2012.
