In the Good Old Days

This piece of farming equipment would have been a farmer's pride and joy in days gone by.  Today it was sitting in the lovely sunshine up the Cardrona Valley.  No sun in Wanaka again today!  I spent the morning in town, getting my hair cut among other things.  I drove up the valley to see the sun, then back home for lunch.  I walked to town this afternoon to do some grocery shopping.

Another Friday, so another weekend.  Here in NZ we are celebrating the Queen's Birthday, so it's a holiday on Monday.  One of the local ski fields is opening just for the weekend.  I am sure that many people will take advantage of the early snow.
