Gulls around a fishing boat.

We're off to Islay for a week. We left our ferry bookings to the last minute and couldn't book on the internet for the direct Kennacraig to Port Askaig ferry, but could do a "Hopscotch" Oban to Port Askaig via Collonsay, Less driving to get to Oban, but a longer ferry journey, but that'll give us more chance of watching seabirds. Well that was the theory, but given the cold wind and drizzle it wasn't really seabird watching conditions in fact the seabirds must have reckoned it wasn't good flying weather either, as the gulls around this fishing boat was about all we saw.
