Come into my parlour . . .

 . . . said the spider to the fly.  This shrub is very popular with the garden spiders and is festooned with webs.  As the spiders are all looking rather fat it must be a good choice.

This was really an experiment to see if ultra wide angle macro gave acceptable results.  You get much more depth of field so the environment around the subject is identifiable but there is a danger of distortions and colour fringing.  This was taken with my 12 mm Loawa lens almost touching the spider.  It is not a true macro but it's still a jolly close close-up!
