Rosslyn Chapel

Mr C has wanted to visit for many years (long before the Dan Brown books ;-)) and today we took the opportunity to do just that. Only 7 miles from Edinburgh but a good 45 minutes on the bus (they seem to have bus stops every 50 yards or so ;-D)) A lovely warm and sunny morning. The chapel is just delightful, so pretty and set in a wonderfully peaceful location. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at a local pub in the village before catching the bus back so we could pick up our bags and head off to the station for our train home.

My first visit to Edinburgh (and Scotland).... and I loved it. I need to go back so I can do lots more exploring. It has a very continental feel and has a great buzz about the place.
